Black Widow Trailer (Parody)

About 8 months ago I left the ad agency I was working for to start with another agency in downtown Jacksonville called St. John & Partners. Now at 35 years old, and having been in the corporate workforce since I was 19 years old, I can honestly say of all the places I've worked, this company is the most amazing. In my short time I have already made several close friends. Everything from the office space, to the work and especially the people....the place is truly special. I've never seen or been a part of a work culture quite like this before.

Throughout the year the company does several events to keep us all engaged and building up our relationships with one another. The most recent event was right up my alley because it was an internal competition to split the company up into teams and see who could come up with the best "short film trailer" based on a randomly chosen historical piece or fairytale. The team I ended up on drew Goldilocks and The Three Bears and were tasked with coming up with creative and modern retelling of the story. It was SO MUCH fun to make and it was awesome getting to know some new faces in the company. With all that being said, I welcome you to watch our submission of "Gold Widow" a modern spin on the character of Goldilocks. Enjoy!

John & Nikki Wedding (VIDEO)

Nikki and I met at an ad agency we both used to work at near San Marco where we became friends. She was a graphic designer and I was the in-house video guy. After a few years we both ended up moving on from that company but still kept in touch. When Nikki got engaged and reached out to ask if I'd film her wedding, I was mega pumped because I knew given her incredible design skills and artistic eye (don't believe me? GO HERE) it could only mean one thing......Her wedding would definitely LOOK amazing. I showed up at the mansion and it was a videographer's playground!

Surrounded by family and friends, John and Nikki tied the knot this past weekend in San Marco under clear skies and amazing weather. Take a moment to watch their special day, and join me in saying CONGRATS to this awesome couple!

Emily + Brock | Epping Forest Yacht Club Wedding Videographer (VIDEO)

Brock and Emily found me in a Google search when they were looking for videographers for their wedding. When we first met and started talking, somewhere during the conversation we found out that we both go to Eleven22! So I do not believe we met by accident. :)

Brock and Emily had a beautiful wedding at one of Jacksonville's most incredible venues, Epping Forest Yacht Club. But my favorite part about this couple, AND their wedding, is that it put Jesus first! And you can hear it coming straight from both their hearts in their vows to one another. So come along and take a look at the wedding highlight reel from their special day and join me in saying congratulations to this amazing couple!

You Love Me Through and Through (VIDEO)

In all honesty, this isn't a post I am necessarily eager to share. Everyone is their own worst critic and I don't even like hearing my self sing let alone watching myself sing. But in this last couple years I have been working towards pushing my musical talents further which is something I regrettably neglected for a while. I'm still finding my voice a little bit but slowly and surely I've been gaining some more range and control over it. It's nothing earth shattering compared to some singers out there, but it's mine and it's a talent God has given me and so I want to grow that gift and use it for His glory.

This is a very simple song written by Will Reagan and his band United Pursuit. Only 4 chords and basically two verses. But there is tremendous meaning behind these words that can touch your heart if you've got ears to hear.

The message? God loves you exactly AS you are and exactly WHERE you are. He loves us through all of our junk. Just like any good dad who loves his kids unconditionally. Don't ever let your past mistakes make you feel excluded from God's love. He knows about them and He knows the ones you'll make again in the future, and He loves you anyway. Through and through.

My hope is this blesses you.

Jaime + Ruban | Jacksonville Wedding Videographer (VIDEO)

Jaime and Ruban had an amazing wedding at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club surrounded with friends and family. Funny story, 15 years ago I used to work there on the grounds crew cutting all of the grass and planting all of the flowers. Wow, have I really reached a point where I can start using the phrase "15 years ago" and it not be a story about me playing pee wee baseball?? Ok I digress. Anyway rain or shine I had to clock in at 6am every day. It was funny shooting this wedding and seeing all of those old flower beds and remembering how I had to plant each one precisely 6 inches apart in a diamond pattern. Ok I digress again.

Are You In? (VIDEO)

If you've been tracking along with me on here you may have seen the post of Austin and Grace's wedding at a new venue in town called The Glass Factory. In that post I mentioned that I had just wrapped up filming a special video project in that location but I wasn't able to show it yet. Here is the project. Hope you enjoy.
