Josh + Olivia | Atlantic Beach Wedding Photographer

I met with Josh and Olivia and instantly knew one thing--I am going to LOVE working with this couple! From the moment we sat down and first started talking we hit it off. They are my people! And it made the tasks of shooting their wedding photos feel like fun and not work. That is always a big plus!

They had an AMAZING wedding on the beach that we thought might not happen when just moments before the ceremony a massive thunderstorm came barreling through, but luckily it moved on and the result was actually just perfect. Cool weather with surprisingly ZERO wind and a nice soft light tone throughout the sky for good pictures. Everything ended up being perfect and I can't imagine it happening any other way.

My favorite part of the wedding ended up being when Josh got on the microphone during the reception and shocked all of us with his personal rendition of "I'll Be Your Crying Shoulder" that absolutely blew the roof off the place. I've seen a few grooms over the years attempt to sing to their bride that didn't go so well and so I always have low expectations. But oh boy, Josh I have never seen anything like. Someone get this guy an agent!

Ok take a look through and join me and congratualting Josh and Olivia on their big day!

Billy + Catie | Atlantic Beach Engagement Photographer

Catie and Billy found me on the Glass Factory website and I am VERY glad they did because when we got finished with their shoot this past week, I walked away with an engagement photo that easily skyrocketed to the very top of my all time favorite list. Hint, it was the thumbnail of this post but in case you somehow miss it, scroll down and it's the one that should make you stop and say "wow." Ok so enough boasting about myself and the cool photo I took. Because if it weren't for these two awesome people who braved the storms of that day and still went out for their engagement session, we'd never have that photo anyway.

Catie and Billy are an amazing couple who are crazy about each other and like to laugh and just be themselves in front of the camera. We had a lot of fun starting at their 2nd story beach house and then found our way down a very cool and rugged painted dock that is sort of a secret spot in Atlantic beach that I am not going to share here so the other beach photographers can't steal it.

Check back for their Glass Factory wedding early 2018!!

Rami + Nadiah | Atlantic Beach Engagement Photographer

Checkout some shots from Rami and Nadiah's engagement shoot. I really enjoyed working with them. Nadiah laughed and giggled the whole time and it made for some really fun pictures. Made my job real easy!

Their Epping Forrest Yacht Club wedding is actually next weekend so keep an eye out for that to come soon!

Kelly + Bump | Adam Szarmack Jacksonville Maternity Photographer

So this maternity shoot has a little extra meaning for me. This is my sister-in-law and mommy to be Kelly. In just a few weeks from now she and her husband will be bringing a new little addition to our family--a baby boy! We are super excited for them and can't wait to meet the little guy!

Kal + Kym | Adam Szarmack Atlantic Beach Wedding Photographer

This wedding was near and dear to my heart because it was the wedding of one Miss Kymberly Wolfson or "Kymbo" as I more affectionately refer to her as. For a very long time Kymberly has been one of the closest people in my life so it was a very big deal for me to be a part of her wedding.

I met Kymberly about 12 years ago at one of my first corporate jobs at a small tech company called Recruitmax. Kymberly had been hired there a few months after I started. At the time I was doing customer support for one of the company's software products called Prohire. I remember her introducing herself to me and when I introduced myself back I told her (jokingly) that I was the "President of Prohire". Ironically about a year later Kymberly became the product manager for Prohire...thus becoming MY manager. That was the beginning of what became a very long journey for the two of us. A journey that had two consistent themes throughout. One—a very close friendship that the only thing keeping it from being a true brother/sister relationship is the fact we came from different moms and dads. And number two—Kymberly being the boss of me! Yes, we ended up working at two more companies together after Recruitmax and at all 3 companies, she continued to be my manager! About two years ago we ended up going different job routes but we were practically joined at the hip for almost a decade and have continued to stay close ever since.

I have only had the opportunity to meet Kal once before their wedding because he lives in London along with all of his crazy groomsmen (which you are about to see) but I can say for certain that it does not take long for anyone to see the tremendous character he has and the genuine love he holds for Kymberly. I've seen every kind of groom there is but at their reception when Kal gave an 18 minute speech about Kymberly it was one of the most heartfelt, thoughtful and sincere things I've ever heard at a wedding. I think I can speak for everyone there when I say that it could have lasted 88 minutes and no one would have wanted it to end. It was just awesome. Well done Kal!

Anyway I always write too much so if you read all of this I appreciate it. I'll let you move on to viewing the photos now.

Congrats to Kal and Kymberly on what was hands down the MOST FUN wedding I have EVER been to!! We love you and wish you guys the absolute best!

Kelly + Sarah | Adam Szarmack Jacksonville Beach Engagement Photographer

Sarah was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot several years ago and she remembered me from then. Unfortunately I was booked on her wedding day but she still hired me to do an engagement shoot. Checkout some images from our stroll through Jacksonville's beaches.

Best of luck you two!
