Chris & Laurie | The Lodge Ponte Vedra Wedding Photographer

If I remember right, I was stopping at Target on my way home from work one day to find my wife a birthday present and while I was enduring the challenge every husband faces of “which candle scent have I NOT bought her yet” my phone rang. Chris initially found me through a Google search but we went on to find out we are both Eleven22’ers AND he has done the same Panama mission trip that I’ve done. (By the way, after viewing this post, if you haven’t already then go look at the PANAMA post too. You won’t regret it.) So we immediately hit it off! I got a chance later on to sit with him and Laurie together as they decided to hire me for their wedding.

Chris and Laurie had an amazing beach wedding surrounded by close family and friends at Ponte Vedra’s Lodge. They are a wonderful, compassionate, genuine and beautiful couple who I can honestly say I am glad I had the privilege of meeting. Take a look at their big day and join me in congratulating these two on many years of marriage to come!

Alex & Kristi Wedding (VIDEO)

Kristi and Alex had a beautiful oceanside wedding at the historic Casa Marina hotel in Jacksonville Beach. I had a great time working with them on what has turned out to be one of my favorite wedding trailers to date! Take a look back at their special day and join me in wishing these two a wonderful marriage together for years to come!

Josh + Olivia | Atlantic Beach Wedding Photographer

I met with Josh and Olivia and instantly knew one thing--I am going to LOVE working with this couple! From the moment we sat down and first started talking we hit it off. They are my people! And it made the tasks of shooting their wedding photos feel like fun and not work. That is always a big plus!

They had an AMAZING wedding on the beach that we thought might not happen when just moments before the ceremony a massive thunderstorm came barreling through, but luckily it moved on and the result was actually just perfect. Cool weather with surprisingly ZERO wind and a nice soft light tone throughout the sky for good pictures. Everything ended up being perfect and I can't imagine it happening any other way.

My favorite part of the wedding ended up being when Josh got on the microphone during the reception and shocked all of us with his personal rendition of "I'll Be Your Crying Shoulder" that absolutely blew the roof off the place. I've seen a few grooms over the years attempt to sing to their bride that didn't go so well and so I always have low expectations. But oh boy, Josh singing....man I have never seen anything like. Someone get this guy an agent!

Ok take a look through and join me and congratualting Josh and Olivia on their big day!

Mike + Alissa | Big Talbot Island Engagement Photographer

Mike, Alissa and myself all braved the cold windy weather last Saturday and made the trek up to Big Talbot Island for their engagement session. Every time you go to this place it's like an adventure but throw in gale force arctic wind chill and it's a whole new ball game! BUT, we still had a lot of fun and came back with some really cool shots. Mike and Alissa are an awesome couple who love Jesus and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding coming up soon!

Rami + Nadiah | Atlantic Beach Engagement Photographer

Checkout some shots from Rami and Nadiah's engagement shoot. I really enjoyed working with them. Nadiah laughed and giggled the whole time and it made for some really fun pictures. Made my job real easy!

Their Epping Forrest Yacht Club wedding is actually next weekend so keep an eye out for that to come soon!

Kelly + Bump | Adam Szarmack Jacksonville Maternity Photographer

So this maternity shoot has a little extra meaning for me. This is my sister-in-law and mommy to be Kelly. In just a few weeks from now she and her husband will be bringing a new little addition to our family--a baby boy! We are super excited for them and can't wait to meet the little guy!

Kal + Kym | Adam Szarmack Atlantic Beach Wedding Photographer

This wedding was near and dear to my heart because it was the wedding of one Miss Kymberly Wolfson or "Kymbo" as I more affectionately refer to her as. For a very long time Kymberly has been one of the closest people in my life so it was a very big deal for me to be a part of her wedding.

I met Kymberly about 12 years ago at one of my first corporate jobs at a small tech company called Recruitmax. Kymberly had been hired there a few months after I started. At the time I was doing customer support for one of the company's software products called Prohire. I remember her introducing herself to me and when I introduced myself back I told her (jokingly) that I was the "President of Prohire". Ironically about a year later Kymberly became the product manager for Prohire...thus becoming MY manager. That was the beginning of what became a very long journey for the two of us. A journey that had two consistent themes throughout. One—a very close friendship that the only thing keeping it from being a true brother/sister relationship is the fact we came from different moms and dads. And number two—Kymberly being the boss of me! Yes, we ended up working at two more companies together after Recruitmax and at all 3 companies, she continued to be my manager! About two years ago we ended up going different job routes but we were practically joined at the hip for almost a decade and have continued to stay close ever since.

I have only had the opportunity to meet Kal once before their wedding because he lives in London along with all of his crazy groomsmen (which you are about to see) but I can say for certain that it does not take long for anyone to see the tremendous character he has and the genuine love he holds for Kymberly. I've seen every kind of groom there is but at their reception when Kal gave an 18 minute speech about Kymberly it was one of the most heartfelt, thoughtful and sincere things I've ever heard at a wedding. I think I can speak for everyone there when I say that it could have lasted 88 minutes and no one would have wanted it to end. It was just awesome. Well done Kal!

Anyway I always write too much so if you read all of this I appreciate it. I'll let you move on to viewing the photos now.

Congrats to Kal and Kymberly on what was hands down the MOST FUN wedding I have EVER been to!! We love you and wish you guys the absolute best!

Kelly + Sarah | Adam Szarmack Jacksonville Beach Engagement Photographer

Sarah was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot several years ago and she remembered me from then. Unfortunately I was booked on her wedding day but she still hired me to do an engagement shoot. Checkout some images from our stroll through Jacksonville's beaches.

Best of luck you two!

Sean + Kara Engagement | Adam Szarmack Jacksonville Beach Wedding Photographer

I've known Sean for a long time now. We started working together over 10 years ago at my first corporate job at a company called Recruitmax. Which was later renamed to Vurv which was later bought by another company called Taleo which was then bought by another little company called Oracle. But I digress.

We started off down in front of Billy's Boathouse in Jax Beach where Sean proposed to Kara and then made our way over to 10th Ave South for some sunset shots. Fun couple and good friends. Looking forward to their wedding!
